Our team manages real-time pricing for all items featured on walmart.com, groceries.walmart.com, and across all Walmart stores. The critical role of pricing in Walmart's business is evident, presenting complex challenges in Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, and Data Science. Designing and engineering software systems and algorithms capable of handling millions of user requests, processing hundreds of millions of data rows, and managing billions of messages and updates are integral aspects of our daily responsibilities. To tackle these challenges, we utilize cutting-edge open-source technologies, making our team a hub for the best-in-class tools. Working with us provides the opportunity to address these core issues, engineer large-scale systems, and have a substantial impact on Walmart's business.
What you'll do:
B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MCA with 8+ years of product development experience in various technologies and domain.
At least 2 years of people manager experience.
Ability to build highly scalable, resilient and end to end product.
Versatile experience in building large scale distributed systems, multi service architecture, UI development and Mobile App development.
Experience of building end-to-end products with various technologies like Java, Spring, REST API, Springboot, Kafka, SQL, Javascript, Android/iOS and having knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, CosmosDB, etc. are a plus.
Knowledge of mobile stack (Android, iOS, React Native) will be a plus.
Should have managed business-critical applications (Tier-0 applications)
Ideal candidate should be hands-on in design review, solutioning the product and comfortable reviewing the code & logic.
Knowledge of high availability, cloud distribution, cloud deployment, hot-cold environment, data consistency.
Strong in following engineering practices like code review, unit testing, static analysis, automation, CI-CD, alerting & monitoring.
Project management experience in planning & execution with Agile Scrum or SAFe / Scaled Agile.

Ownership of key engineering deliverables.
Hire, coach, inspire and motivate engineers and leaders in the team.
Facilitate and guide team member in their technical skills.
Prioritize and delegate tasks to the team.
Ability to manage various stake holders – product managers, program managers, scrum masters, engineering managers – across various geo location.
Experience in performance evaluation, appraisal, promoting team members and giving constructing feedback to the team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional peers and leaders to deliver projects
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
