Salesforce Inc. seeks Associate User Researcher in New York, NY:

Job Duties: Immerse in the details of the company's products or services to understand user needs and areas of opportunity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insights into product development and improvements. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to inform product research initiatives. Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate product usability and user satisfaction. Engage in in-depth interviews to uncover user needs, pain points, and preferences. Implement card sorting exercises for information architecture optimization. In-depth examination of competitor products, features, and user experiences. Identify market trends and emerging patterns within the industry. Produce comprehensive reports to inform the team of product opportunities and potential areas for improvement. Create targeted recruitment strategies to ensure diverse and representative user samples. Collaborate with product and design teams to optimize participant engagement that meets business needs. Craft surveys to gather quantitative data on user preferences and behaviors. Implement survey tools and platforms for effective data collection. Analyze survey results to extract meaningful insights for decision-making. Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods: thematic analysis, coding, affinity mapping. Build insightful research sessions, extracting key findings, and presenting actionable recommendations. Collaborate with data analysts to ensure a comprehensive understanding of user research outcomes. Gain hands-on experience in creating wireframes to visualize user interfaces and interactions. Contribute to the development of journey maps to understand user experiences across touchpoints. Participate in usability testing activities, providing valuable input for iterative design improvements. Telecommuting is an option. Up to quarterly travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or Applied Research Methods, and three (3) months of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Figma; (2) Card Sorting; (3) Concept Testing; (4) Microsoft Office Suite; (5) Journey Mapping; (6) Usability Testing; (7) UI/UX; (8) Wireframing; (9) Prototyping; (10) Product Research; (11) User Interviews; (12) Survey Design; (13) Competitive Analysis; (14) Customer Recruiting; and (15) Design Thinking. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Up to quarterly travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $102,200.00 - $153,400.00 per annum.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $102,200 to $153,400.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
