Clinical Nurse Clinician-RN –Surgery Breast Center-NYP Medical Group Queens-Days

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Medical Group- Nurse Clinician- Breast Center  is looking for highly organized and motivated RN to join our team in a non-patient facing role. You'll play a vital role in supporting our providers, ensuring efficient workflows, and contributing to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
  • Manage and prioritize phone calls, inquiries, and communication with patients and external parties.
  • Employ strong triage skills to categorize and address needs effectively.
  • Meticulously prepare and maintain documentation for tumor review boards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Criteria:

  • At least 3-5 years of RN experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).
  • Attention to detail: A keen eye for accuracy and a commitment to thoroughness are essential.
  • Customer service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure positive interactions with patients and colleagues.
  • Medical office experience: Prior experience working in a medical office setting is a plus.
  • Oncology experience: Familiarity with oncology practices and terminology is highly desirable.

Required Criteria:

  • Current New York State RN license.
  • BCLS certification.
