Team Overview
Are you an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator in Chandigarh? If so we have a great opportunity to join our expanding team who are working to ensure that our platforms can continue to support our Securities Finance clients globally. 

In this role as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator you will support both our EquiLend and Spire product platforms. You will demonstrate the ability to research and investigate independently and have a strong technical background to take appropriate ownership and confidently engage with external IT team. You will be part of a growing Database Administration team, collaborating with colleagues across our global offices. If you have a background in Database Administration as well as excellent technical and communication skills then we would love to hear from you. 

Role Responsibilities 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in an enterprise level application
  • Intermediate understanding of Oracle database architecture.
  • Administer space requirements by creating tablespaces, adding and resizing data files.
  • Implementation and maintaining Database Security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
  • Troubleshooting and monitoring Batch job and job process related issues.
  • Understanding of the release process and working with development teams.
  • Strong knowledge on database Backup and recovery concepts.
  • Experience implementing and configuring standby databases or troubleshooting errors of standby database.
  • Knowledge on applying Patches and Bug Fixes.
  • Experience with performance tuning and knowledge of concepts.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Restart and ASM.
  • Willingness to work in 24x7x365 Production environments.

Required Skills 

  • Oracle standard and enterprise editions and RMAN, Postgres 14 or higher, RHEL, AWS RDS, oracle PL/SQL, Postgres PL/pgsql, DB replication
