Job Description:

Vaxcom LLC, a Parsons company, is looking for an amazingly talented Site Training Officer to join our Colorado team! In this role you will build and run a training program that keeps Security Protective Officers fully trained, certified, and compliant with contract requirements and applicable federal and state standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the site training program so every officer stays qualified and ready for duty.
• Plan and run academy, sustainment, and annual/semiannual recertifications (firearms, defensive tactics, OC, CPR/AED).
• Operate safe, efficient range days; manage ammunition, targets, Range Safety Officer (RSO) coverage, and documentation.
• Keep training records complete and audit-ready; track and close 90/60/30/7-day compliance alerts.
• Publish a concise weekly status for leadership; flag risks early with clear recovery plans.
• Coach officers and deliver timely remedial training to meet standards.
• Maintain the training calendar and trackers; reconcile sign-ins, rosters, and qualification logs.
• Coordinate with customer representatives and vendors to align training with mission needs.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelors and at least 2 years of relevant experience or Associates and at least 4 years of relevant experience or At least 6+ years of relevant experience to include hands-on training experience in law enforcement, military, or private security.
• Degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Instructor-level capability in First Aid/CPR/AED, firearms, defensive tactics, OC, and baton (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Proven range safety competence and safe weapons handling.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and documentation; clear, concise communication.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience supporting a federal contract and partnering with customer representatives.
• Familiarity with a learning management system (LMS) or SharePoint for training records.
• Project management skills to drive schedules, metrics, budgets, and vendor coordination.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
