Position Summary

The Treasury Manager – Europe & Asia supports and oversees regional treasury operations across Europe and Asia. The role focuses on liquidity management, cash forecasting, fund and entity-level cash flows, banking structures, guarantees, and financial risk management across operating entities, joint ventures, and holding companies. This position partners closely with Global Treasury, Capital Markets, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and external financial institutions to ensure efficient capital deployment and compliance with global treasury policies while addressing region-specific regulatory and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Operations

  • Support treasury activities related to property-level entities, holding companies, and joint ventures across Europe and Asia
  • Manage cash flows associated with operating income & expenses, distributions, acquisitions, developments, and dispositions
  • Coordinate funding and cash movements for property acquisitions, developments, and capital expenditures
  • Partner with Capital Market and Fund Management teams on liquidity planning and distribution timing

Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Run daily cash positioning and liquidity management for Europe and Asia entities
  • Own regional cash flow forecasting and variance analysis, coordinating with finance and fund management teams
  • Optimize regional cash concentration, pooling, and intercompany funding structures in line with global strategy

Debt, Guarantees & Intercompany Financing

  • Oversee local facilities, guarantees, and intercompany financing structures
  • Coordinate with Global Treasury on interest expense forecasting, bank fee budgets.
  • Support regional facility renewals, amendments, and guarantee management aligned with global financing strategy

Financial Risk Management

  • Manage regional foreign exchange and interest rate risk exposures in coordination with Global Treasury
  • Execute, document, and monitor hedging transactions in accordance with company policy

Banking & Treasury Operations

  • Own regional bank relationships across Europe and Asia
  • Oversee bank account management, KYC, signatories, and payment structures
  • Ensure strong treasury controls and SOX compliance across regional operations

Leadership, Reporting & Projects

  • Act as primary regional treasury point of contact for Europe and Asia
  • Prepare regional treasury reporting for Global Treasury and senior finance leadership
  • Lead or support treasury transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and process improvements
     

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5–7+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, FX, debt instruments, and regional banking practices
  • Experience operating in a multinational, matrixed organization
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

  • Experience supporting treasury operations in Europe and Asia
  • Experience with treasury management systems
  • Experience in a global, publicly traded company or REIT
