Logistics Planner

This role will provide transportation support for the Western region, which includes Orland and Southern CA milk sheds. In this role, you will also:

•              Support Transportation Manager with daily operational functions

•              Work with Milk Sourcing to coordinate load volumes and destinations

•              Work with all outside haulers and dedicated fleet to coordinate all milk movement

•              Work with Member Relations on patron pickups, lab results, follow up samples, and any other hauler issues

•              Work with the dedicated hauler office staff to ensure all data is entered and reconcile all the member paperwork

•              Maintain current cost structures for the dedicated fleet operation expenses

•              Work with LOL plant load out and sourcing to coordinate deliveries of all finished product

•              Maintain purchase orders for inventoried supplies as needed

•              Work with dedicated hauler on CDFA and USDA audits and tanker inspections

•              Assist in the implementation of a mobile application for farm pickup loads

This role does require being on call at times. Some nights and weekend calls will be required.

Required Experience/Education:

•              Bachelors Degree and 3+ years experience in transportation OR in lieu of degree, 7+ years experience in transportation/supply chain discipline

•              Experience working in Microsoft Office, Excel, Etc

•              Creative and innovative problem-solving skills

•              Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

•              Dairy transportation experience highly preferred

Salary Range: 76,000 - 112,000 depending on experience.
