Position:              Facility Officer

Reporting to:        Sr Manager Engineering

Division:              Established Pharmaceutical Division - Operation

Location:             Karachi -Landhi Plant

Job Summary:

Ensure proper maintenance of all plant buildings included gate security, Marketing Training center, RMS, CD, all manufacturing, Mktg., ADD, Finance, MCD, canteen and Admin.

Major Responsibilities:

• To organize systematic functions of building repair maintenance, painting, & wooden work
• Coordinate with painters, carpenters and civil contractors where required
• Daily survey of different areas as per planned schedule and document all observations on a checklist with corrective action and completion target date
• Maintain work order status received from different department with their estimation and follow-up till approval stage
• Make sure to follow and implement all EHS standards, policies, practices and permits and related SOPs
• Represent Engineering department in works council and housekeeping committees were nominated
• Prepare progress report of such committees and discuss with Manager Engineering
• Ensure compliance of Abbott code of business conduct, applicable Engineering Standards & specifications, maintain safe workplace
• Make an annual training schedule and implement for job related and for reporting employees

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

• Graduation; preferably B Tech/DAE in Civil
• 2-3 years’ experience in relevant field
• Knowledge of building repair Maintenance
• Teamwork
