Security Operations Engineer

What you can expect

At Zoom, we are seeking an experienced Security Operations Engineer to be a member of the Infrastructure Services Team. This role will be instrumental in defining Zoom's approach for development and support of our security infrastructure.

About the Team

Zoom's Information Technology team is dedicated to delivering customer happiness, enhancing business efficiency, and fostering agility through innovation, data insights, and automation. Our impact is evident in seamless user experiences, streamlining processes, and supporting Zoom's growth in communication and collaboration.

What we’re looking for

• Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible and Git.

• Experience with Linux systems engineering and other operating systems.

• Experience with Cloud infrastructure.

• Experience with containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Operator Framework).

• Experience in the support of security gateways or endpoint protection solution.

• Experience in design, implementation and operating of myriad systems security technologies in hybrid environments from on-premise to public cloud.

• Experience and understanding of host-based security.

• Experience in writing shell scripts and higher level language is an additional bonus (Bash, Python, Go etc.).

• Experience system monitoring, alerting and logging experience including monitoring, debugging and automating routine tasks.
