Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely and accurate HKMA Returns, and other banking regulatory returns as required for submission on time;

  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, controls and policies;

  • Responsible for local financial reporting, Head Office reporting and financial disclosure of the bank per government regulations, accounting standards and the Bank’s policies;

  • Prepare management reports and presentation materials for senior management meeting;

  • Assist in budget and forecast process, automation and process improvement projects

  • Attend enquiries from the HKMA, internal and external auditors, Head Office and stakeholder;

  • Engage in ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance/ Accountancy/ Information System

  • HKICPA or equivalent qualifications

  • At least 4 years of accounting/ audit experience with financial services industry

  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to coordinate, prioritize and manage multiple activities to meet deadlines

  • Proactive self-starter, comfortable with working autonomously and have a strong sense of responsibility

  • Conversant with MS Office application. Knowledge of Excel VBA and MS SQL would be an advantage

  • Fluent in English and Chinese
