About Lakewood Regional Support
Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.
Responsible for providing exceptionally enjoyable and safe pool experience for resort guests commensurate with the demands and expectations of the guests. Directs the provision of pool services, including towel issuance and inventory control as well as shift pool and operations. Supervises the lifeguards on shift to ensure all aquatic safety standards are met. Maintains the cleanliness and physical appearance of pool area.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting in maintaining guest safety in all pool areas, ensuring professional and consistent adherence to all pool safety standards
- Supervises day-to-day operations of recreational areas
- Assists in maintaining proper positioning, visibility and condition of all pool safety and rescue equipment
- Coordinates welcoming of all guest upon arrival at pool area and the immediate provision of towels
- Supervises the ongoing issuance and inventory or pool towels
- Supervises the provision of chilled towels and water spray bottles
- Supervises the provision of complimentary drinking water for pool guests
- Supervises the provision of misting service
- Supervises all guest pool activities
- Supervises set-up and tear down required for all poolside functions
- Supervises the provision of recreational items and equipment
- Supervises the cleaning, maintenance and placement of pool furniture
- Supervises the monitoring of guests leaving the pool area and the picking up of all dirty towels and garbage and the repositioning of chairs
- Turns in lost and found items throughout shift according to hotel procedures
- Monitors and maintains appropriate inventory of pool towels throughout shift, obtaining clean towels from the laundry and returning dirty towels.
- Attends all departmental meetings as scheduled
- Monitors timely logging and submittal to Security of all lost and found items
- Ability to recognize, respond, and be in charge during an aquatic emergency
- Supervises all cabana operations
- Conducts daily walk through of Fitness Center
- Coordinates and executes daily activities
- Training, spot check, coach all new Team Members to optimum performance and ensure compliance with Aquatics Training Program
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
- Ability to perform “Physical Requirements” as explained below

Qualifications:
- Excellent guest service skills
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. and pull/push 100 lbs
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Education:
Experience:
- Minimum one year Supervisory experience preferred in high volume pool areas
Licenses or Certificates:
- CPR/First Aid certified preferred
