We are currently looking for our future Customer Support Engineer who will be based in Wabtec, Warszawa.

Who will you be working with?

You will be reporting to the Managing Director.

How will you make a difference?

As a Customer Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical assistance, problem-solving expertise, and outstanding customer service to clients in Europe.

This position is crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction and the seamless operation of Wabtec’ Corporation products and solutions.

What do we want to know from you?

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and proven experience in a technical support or engineering role, preferably in the transportation or industrial sector (experience with brakes, and braking systems will be an advantage).
  • You have a good command of the English and Polish languages.
  • You can read technical drawings and have experience with technical documentation and reporting tools.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and critically.
  • You can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • You are willing to travel.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical support for Wabtec’s products, including brakes and pneumatics.
  • Collaborate with the sales and product departments regarding sales inquiries.
  • Provide technical supervision and coordination for the mobile service team in Europe and the Service Center.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, offering effective solutions and guidance to clients.
  • Work with engineering and product development teams (Wabtec Freight Engineering international team) to escalate complex technical problems and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the customer experience.
