Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to lead a team of professional-level engineers and drive backend development excellence. This role involves managing team performance, setting priorities, and influencing strategic decisions at the management level.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of backend developers.

• Develop and communicate plans and priorities to achieve team goals.

• Establish processes, track performance, and ensure quality standards.

• Provide coaching and career development guidance to direct reports.

• Collaborate with management to inform and influence decision-making.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience:

  • 5–7+ years in software development.

  • Python programming language & AWS/Azure in infrastructure knowledge is a MUST.

  • 5+ years with ASP.NET, SQL, jQuery, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • 2+ years in REST API and WCF Services.

  • 2+ years with MVC framework.

  • Strong understanding of VSTS/TFS, JIRA, and Confluence.
