Job Description:

Parsons is seeking talented Junior and Senior Roadway Engineers to join our Centreville, VA office and contribute to roadway and civil engineering projects across the DC region. If you have a passion for working on both conventional and design/build roadway programs, this is your opportunity to be part of a global company renowned for transforming infrastructure projects worldwide.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in roadway design, pavement rehabilitation, and civil engineering to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in our Centreville, VA, or Washington, DC office

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform conventional and moderately complex highway/roadway engineering tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Serve as a lead engineer for specific disciplines on small to intermediate-sized projects or contribute as part of a project team.
• Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and junior Engineers working on the same project.
• Plan and design roadway facilities that prioritize reliability, safety, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
• Foster cooperative and productive relationships with employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3–10+ years of related experience in highway/roadway engineering design.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is highly preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, and industry-standard roadway design and analysis software.
• Preferred Experience: Familiarity with VDOT and DDOT standards and practices.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in our Centreville, VA, or Washington, DC office.

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
