About the Team

Enterprise Vendor Mangement Team is focused on building the business and running the business by providing the vendors a world class on-boarding experience and supporting them throughout their partnership by managing their information, contracts, policies, general queries and enabling them with their sales and inventory data. 

Job Summary:

The Merchandising Operations Associate Analyst supports day-to-day operational execution by managing Tier 1 tickets and assisting with vendor issue resolution within the Lowe’s Vendor Gateway application. This role focuses on ensuring timely ticket handling, monitoring ticket volume, and identifying recurring issues or opportunities that impact vendor experience and merchandising operations. The Associate Analyst works closely with internal partners to support smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Tier 1 Ticket Support

  • Serve as first-level support for Tier 1 tickets submitted through the Lowe’s Vendor Gateway application.
  • Review, triage, and resolve tickets following established processes and SLAs.
  • Ensure accurate ticket documentation, categorization, and timely closure.

Vendor Resolution Support

  • Partner with vendors to address basic system, access, and process-related issues.
  • Provide guidance on Vendor Gateway functionality and escalate complex issues when needed.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication to support a positive vendor experience.

Ticket Volume Monitoring

  • Track daily and weekly ticket volume to identify trends, recurring issues, or spikes in demand.
  • Assist in preparing summaries and basic reports to support operational reviews.

Issue & Opportunity Identification

  • Identify common issues impacting vendor experience or operational efficiency within the Vendor Gateway application.
  • Flag opportunities for process improvements or system enhancements to leadership and partner teams.
  • Support testing or validation efforts for improvements as needed.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with merchandising, technology, and operations teams to support ticket resolution.
  • Follow established escalation paths to ensure timely resolution of issues beyond Tier 1 scope.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0–2 years of experience in operations, support, retail, or analytics-related roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working with ticketing systems and basic reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Experience supporting vendor-facing platforms or retail operations.
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar).
  • Basic analytical skills with interest in data and operational improvement.
  • Exposure to merchandising or supply chain processes.
