What you'll do...

Position: Manager, Inventory Management and Planning

Job Location: 702 S.W. 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716

Duties: Manage order planning process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products, maintaining the smooth operation of supply chain activities. Oversee the end-to-end inventory flow, including procurement, storage, distribution, and final delivery, ensuring seamless operations. Implement strategies for inventory optimization, using data analysis and forecasting techniques to minimize costs, reduce overstock, and improve efficiency. Continually work on improving in-stock levels by accurately forecasting demand, ensuring product availability is maximized to meet customer needs and sales targets. Collaborate with various departments such as merchant, replenishment, sourcing and logistics to align inventory plans, forecast future demand, and ensure cross-departmental coordination.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Logistics or in a related field plus 1 year of experience in inventory management, accounting, or related experience; OR Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Logistics or in a related field.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Understanding entire inventory flow, streamlining inventory process and managing strategy optimization efforts. Utilizing data analytical skills to investigate business problems related to manufacturing, transportation, warehousing and inventory. Utilizing Supply Chain Management to identify opportunities to increase efficiency, resilience and sustainability. Managing business challenges by identifying and mitigating risks related to inventory and manufacturing capabilities. Identifying gaps between supply and demand and aligning decisions that support goals. Simplifying reorder process with continuous review system. Conducting market analysis to evaluate trends and informing SKU decisions, ensuring alignment with demand and sales strategies. Utilizing Change Management to help organizations adapt system change by planning, communicating and executing changes. Utilizing leadership skills to guide and support cross-functional teams. Tracking and documenting steps needed to achieve revenue increase across operation. Auditing to ensure data accuracy for operation purpose.
