Senior IT Vendor Management Analyst (Hybrid - 1 to 2 days onsite per week)

Overview:

The Senior IT Vendor Management and Procurement Analyst will be critical in managing IT vendors, overseeing procurement processes, and ensuring effective project planning and execution. This individual will initiate and maintain vendor relationships, manage service renewals, and collaborate across departments while taking on project management responsibilities to ensure procurement projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business objectives.

The impact you'll make:

  • Maintain a comprehensive service renewal calendar to ensure timely actions to ensure there is no service disruption.
  • Update relevant JIRA tickets to facilitate clear communication among stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
  • Engage with smaller service providers for annual renewals and support beneficial vendor relationships.
  • Execute ERP-related tasks, such as creating purchase orders (POs) in SAP and tracking active invoices in Concur.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess vendor performance during quarterly business reviews.
  • Assist IT, Legal, and AP teams with contract management, invoice processing, and software asset management.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of vendor management processes and ensure accurate documentation for procurement activities.
  • Oversee procurement-related projects to ensure on-time and on-budget completion, including detailed project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables. 
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on vendor management and procurement processes.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring project alignment with business goals.
  • Guide cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and procurement specialists, facilitating meetings such as stand-ups and project status reviews.
  • Monitor project performance using established metrics, and provide regular updates and status reports to leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing procurement and vendor management processes, recommending and implementing best practices to drive efficiency and streamline operations

What you've accomplished:

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, JIRA, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and project management tools.
  • Proven experience in establishing, curating, and producing comprehensive policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and opportunities, and proactively devise effective solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of IT systems, technologies, and industry trends to facilitate effective vendor negotiations and procurement processes.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor agreements and manage complex relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to balance multiple deadlines and stakeholder needs.
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) to efficiently manage procurement and vendor-related projects.

The base pay range for this is position is: $95,000 - $108,000.00 per year
