About Us – Cardiac Cath

The Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) is designated by the state of Missouri as a level I STEMI center.  The CCL provides specialized diagnostic and interventional services for both inpatient and outpatient adults.  The CCL is committed to staying at the cutting edge of heart disease diagnosis and treatment by utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and equipment in our lab.  Procedures that are included but not limited to: cardiac and peripheral diagnostics and revascularizations, electrophysiology studies, structural heart procedures, and vascular embolization.

What You'll Do

Performs a variety of cardiovascular procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. Has the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Proficient in all aspects of designated procedural area in preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies and procedures. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. Leads the work of other staff and students as required. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. May take call after hours as designated.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic science, cardiovascular technology or nursing. Appropriate current state licensure

Knowledge, Skiles, & Abilities

• Possesses problem solving skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job 
• Demonstrates good time management and organizational skills
