We are seeking a passionate and driven commercial professional to support the growth, adoption, and clinical excellence of Abbotts CardioMEMs system driving its expansion. The  

Therapy Development Manager is a brand-new role in our Heart Failure division who will cover the North UK. 

 

 

What you’ll do 

 

In this fieldbased role covering the North UK region, you will support Abbott’s CardioMEMS system. You will focus on business development driving commercial success while delivering technical, clinical and educational support to ensure safe adoption, market growth, and strong customer engagement across the territory. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

 

  • Driving therapy and market development of CardioMEMS in the North of UK. 

  • Developing and delivering Heart Failure education programmes for the UK&I market. 

  • Managing key accounts, including physicians, KOLs, and procurement teams. 

  • Provide procedure support. 

  • Communicating Abbott’s Heart Failure value proposition through coordinated internal and external messaging. 

  • Collaborating with European colleagues on strategy, best practice, and marketing initiatives. 

  • Supporting crossdivisional activities to maximise opportunities across the portfolio. 

  • Deliver forecasting, market intelligence, and maintaining strong networks. 

 

What you’ll need 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent or equivalent. 

  • A comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices. 

  • Ability to work with others effectively. 

  • Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications. 

  • Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations and procedures. 

  • Documented record of delivering strategic marketing information. 

  • Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.  

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as, Microsoft Office.  

  • This position requires a considerable amount of business travel. 

  • Professional training/education certification or designation.   

  • Field sales experience required.
