A Day in the Life

Due to the continued growth of the Affera™ Mapping System and Medtronic’s ongoing investment in the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic individual who is ready to take the next step in their career and transition into a leadership role as Affera Regional Clinical Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of high-performing Affera Mapping Specialists within a defined geographic region. Your leadership, clinical expertise, and technical knowledge will be critical in supporting the successful adoption and launch of the Affera system and other electrophysiology technologies across the Benelux region.

This role combines advanced technical expertise in cardiac mapping with strong people leadership capabilities, offering a highly rewarding and impactful opportunity. The Affera Regional Clinical Manager will report to the Affera Clinical Lead, NWE – Cardiac Ablation Solutions.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide expert clinical and technical support for cardiac mapping systems and Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) products during procedures and customer engagements
  • Deliver training and educational programs for physicians, hospital staff, and Medtronic colleagues on the safe, effective and approriate use of CAS technologies
  • Partner closely with regional sales teams to support the achievement of national, regional, and territory sales objectives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders to support adoption, utilization, and growth of the CAS portfolio
  • Lead and manage a team of Affera Mapping Specialists, establishing clear quarterly goals and objectives while providing ongoing guidance and support
  • Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members to strengthen their technical, clinical, and professional capabilities
  • Address team challenges effectively while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and compliance standards

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrophysiology, cardiac mapping, or navigation systems
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting the Affera Mapping System 
  • Proven ability to independently support complex electrophysiology procedures 
  • Current Affera mentor certification or actively working toward certification 
  • Strong technical and clinical expertise in electrophysiology combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities with the ability to build professional relationships and effectively manage communication and conflict resolution

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik:  Belgium: 96,800.00 EUR - 145,200.00 EUR | Luxembourg: 90,400.00 EUR - 135,600.00 EUR | Netherlands: 89,200.00 EUR - 133,800.00 EUR | 

 

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
