The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a(n) Sales Consultant, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Maintain results driven focus in individual goals while supporting and fostering interpersonal goals across the team and the company
  • Build a comprehensive territory and account plan with guidance from your manager that prioritizes sales opportunities, creates activities /methods for realizing sales objectives, and carries out the plan with consistent monitoring and adjusting as needed
  • Maintain and grow current business by identifying customer challenges and developing comprehensive solutions, including cross-selling across the Vyaire solution set for deeper product and account penetration
  • Drive product demand by demonstrating centrally generated insights with account level research that persuasively compels customers to discover or reconsider new opportunities and new ways of thinking
  • Responsible for meeting quota on assigned accounts within the territory on a quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis
  • Strategically take prompt action in navigating customer collaborator consensus across clinical, financial, and administrative roles to coach through the buying process and identify individuals most likely to act and exert internal influence
  • Proactively communicate daily with team members in a fast-paced environment; provide regular updates on driven, clinical and customer situations
  • Develop and deliver on monthly and quarterly forecasts while maintaining CRM compliance and accuracy
  • Focus on driving depth and increasing Vyaire product utilization in existing accounts through the cultivation of new physician users and re-engaging lost customers
  • Assist in formulating sales revenue projections, by account, for the territory using salesforce.com
  • Based on assigned accounts and territory goals, be able to develop call plan for the week/quarter ahead
  • Conduct in-services and presentations to all support staff
  • Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge
  • Proactively communicate every day with team members; provide regular updates on competitive, clinical and customer situations
  • Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while authoritatively representing Vyaire Medical
  • Complete administrative requirements (including expenses) timely and accurately

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Vyaire is looking for candidates who have the following required qualifications:

  • Three (3) plus years in sales within a medical device (healthcare) field Or 3 years clinical experience, preferably in ICU or NICU.
  • Associates degree or respiratory therapy certification required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency with PC-based office computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required

  • Shown product knowledge
  • Ability to work independently
  • Verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in business English and grammar; good arithmetic skills and attention to detail to maintain records and process reports

Essential Function Requirements: Credentialing: Employee shall secure and maintain the credentials required by Vyaire Medical and its customers. Securing those credentials may require mandatory vaccinations and other tests. (If employee is unwilling or unable to comply with any credentialing requirement because of religious or health/medical/disability related restrictions, employee must immediately notify Vyaire Medical’s Human Resources Department to discuss possible reasonable accommodations regarding those restrictions.)
