About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Software Development Engineer, you will:

• Write and maintain robust, efficient and extensible code using a varied set of languages, frameworks and tools including Xpresso, React, Typescript, GraphQL, NodeJS, Cypress and Jest

• Deliver reliable software through continuous integration, automated testing, and in-depth code & design reviews

• Collect & Analyse data points to make data driven decisions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, plan and deliver exciting capabilities

• Advocate & champion best practices in both software engineering & agile development

• Build proof of concepts to help shape the future success of our product

• Mentor, coach and learn from peer teammates through workshops, pair programming, code/design reviews and documentation

• Be an excellent teammate, placing the team's collective success as the highest priority

About You

​Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

• 7+ years of experience building enterprise level web applications

• Significant object-oriented development experience; building SOLID applications, developed in languages such as; Java, Kotlin, C#, Python or Javascript

• Significant Front-End development experience; creating RESTful Web applications, developed within the React ecosystem

• Demonstrable track record in technical leadership - people, product & process.

Other Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to build strong, trust based cross-functional stakeholder working relationships.

• Experience with WCAG and accessible UI development

• Experience with Node.JS and/or Jenkins is a plus

• Experience with data analytics and tooling; Jupyter Notebook, Grafana, Wavefront, Tableau, Hive, Spark etc.
