WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As our SEC Technical Deployment Lead, you will report to the Director of SEC Technical Deployment and will support and help manage and lead all aspects of the planning, coordination and delivery of Technical Deployment. This individual will be nimble, communicative, collaborative and confident in illuminating our SEC technical deployment path to stable, successful marketplace activations. We value your strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and influence others, negotiate during situational conflict, and establish the best path forward when faced with competing points of view. Be the voice of SEC Deployment when working across SEC, and Global Technology so that teams listen, collaborate, follow and trust your experienced leadership.
A minimum of 5+ years of ERP cutover leadership experience required.
A bachelor’s degree in technology, business, engineering, or a related field; 2+ additional years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with leaders and cross-functional partners to deliver key strategic initiatives.
Familiarity with project planning and project management tools.
Based in the US, this role must be open to occasional travel up to 10%
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will work closely with the SEC Technical Deployment Director, SEC technical Teams, SEC Functional leads and GEO Technical leads to ensure the work, timelines and deliverables stay on track. You will work closely with SEC Business Deployment Leadership as well as the Data Conversion leadership to ensure Business, Tech and Data Conversion teams remain aligned.
Support the creation of strategies to ensure successful coordination and planning of Tech Deployment actives from the first development landscape build through to the end of Hypercare.
Lead the creation of the technical Cutover plan (key deliverable) that ensures proper systems, interface, security, ramp downs, System capacity balancing, Contingency, Security, connectivity, platform integration, business activation and outage planning across the impacted systems landscapes,
Integrate and align technical cutover with environment plans, code and configuration releases, business freeze milestone dependencies, ramp down and blackout activities in preparation for cutover. Integrate all technical ramp up plans to capture the complete coordinated business activation process in alignment with business activation targets after Go-live. These include live batch impacts, new batch activations, smoke testing, peak business events. period end close capacity impacts, post go-live data conversions, cutover document cancellations, data egress, downstream consumption and report availability.
Collaborate and coordinate with Live Geographies, Local Tech teams as well as Release Management, Peak Event Management, Change Management, Nike Global Technology Adjacent Initiative leads, Technically Aligned Teams and Frontline Level 1 support teams (including Batch) to help ensure all stakeholders and responsible parties are integrated, share ownership in planning and drive task execution activities.
Work closely with our SI partner Accenture on all Tech deliverables impacting Deployment.
As the go-to marketplace activation release owner, plan lead and orchestrate executing kick-off’s, cutover workshops, mock conversions, dress rehearsals, decisions, communications and the cutover command center.
