About The Role:

We are looking to add an experienced Pricing Director to lead, support, and oversee the entire global deal desk function. The Pricing Director reports to the VP of Revenue Operations. This position will work closely with the Revenue and Finance teams and will have frequent interactions with Executive Management.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarter is located), one of our office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding. 

As Our Pricing Director, You Will:

  • Work closely with Revenue leadership, Product Marketing, and Finance to roll out new pricing and packaging strategies across all existing accounts
  • Work closely with product leadership to understand product feature upgrades, product value drivers, and ROI delivered to clients from our products to ensure strong pricing integrity
  • Analyze and track the performance of any packaging or pricing changes and the impact they are having company wide, determining where we are falling short and where we can improve our processes
  • Assess competitive pricing with a thorough understanding of where we land relative to competing research and feed products
  • Work closely with Revenue leadership on the holistic renewal planning process to ensure pricing strategies and tactics are determined well in advance of renewal dates
  • Implement a strategic deal desk to help position deals that maximize our ARR. Including, but not limited to:
    • Building tools, systems, and models such as pricing calculators, for Revenue to utilize that help determine ARR upside and downside risk
    • Launching a streamlined process to ensure pricing integrity is maintained across the organization
    • Helping to construct complex deal plans / proposals
  • Thoughtfully analyze new packaging strategies in partnership with finance and revenue teams to determine firm wide go forward plan
  • Co-own roll out of new pricing and packaging broadly which includes project management, training, implementation, and tracking 

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

  • Have at least 8 years of escalating scope, responsibility and impact, including at least 3 years focused on pricing 
  • Have pricing and package bundle experience including experience implementing large scale price changes leading to top line revenue growth
  • Have strong analytical skills and the ability to apply learnings to real life situations
  • Have a track record of working well and in partnership with many senior stakeholders

Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits, perks, and a competitive salary: 

  • The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be $175,000-200,000. The final offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's individual work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks. 
  • This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. We also have office hubs in Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, and Seattle. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.
