Information Technology Services – Infrastructure Operations
Full-time, fixed-term position for up to 2 years
Base salary will be in the range $95,361 - $102,302 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6)
Based at our St. Lucia Campus
The Project Officer will join the Infrastructure Operations team, which delivers key underpinning services including campus networks, data integration, access and authentication, and public cloud management. This role will support inflight programs of work and assist project teams in implementing new solutions across multiple initiatives. Working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, the Project Officer ensures projects are coordinated effectively and outcomes are delivered on time.
Key responsibilities will include:
Support project teams by preparing PMO documents, project notes, templates, reports and other required artefacts
Schedule and minute meetings for steering committees, working groups, and technical advisory groups, ensuring follow-up on actions and decisions
Assist in drafting communications and project documentation, including solution descriptions and presentation materials
Collaborate with subject matter experts, business stakeholders and project managers to support timely delivery of initiatives

You are a highly organised and proactive individual with experience supporting IT projects and coordinating teams across diverse stakeholders.
You will bring:
A degree in IT or related field (or progress towards) with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Experience in meeting administration including agendas, minutes, and tracking outcomes
Experience providing IT project coordination or administrative support
Developing knowledge of project management methodologies and IT governance frameworks
Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Teams, Zoom; experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence highly desirable
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and work collaboratively to achieve project outcomes
Experience in the Higher Education sector is advantageous
