Role Overview 

The Client Service Manager (Officer) is responsible for delivering high-quality middle office support to a key client (PIMCO), ensuring accurate execution of operational processes, effective stakeholder communication, and timely resolution of issues. 

The role provides oversight across multiple operational areas (transitions manager for new accounts, terminations, mergers and bank changes) and supports a controlled, efficient, and client-focused operating environment. 

 

Work requirements:

  • Hybrid work model: at least 3 days from the office per week is required

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee daily operational activities across core middle office processes, including managing transitions for new accounts, terminations, mergers and bank changes  

  • Take ownership of assigned processes, ensuring accurate and timely end-to-end delivery 

  • Act as an escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and clear communication 

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, custodians, brokers, and client counterparts 

  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment and consistency in service delivery 

  • Monitor operational risk and ensure adherence to internal controls, procedures, and regulatory requirements 

  • Maintain and improve process documentation, ensuring procedures remain accurate and up to date 

  • Monitor KPIs and process performance, identifying areas for improvement 

  • Support onboarding activities, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives 

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational discrepancies 

 

Required Experience & Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of experience within middle office / asset servicing / fund operations 

  • Experience in client service and stakeholder management 

  • Good understanding of middle office processes such as onboarding, terminations mergers, account configuration 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field 

 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage across different seniority levels 

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities 

  • High attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure 

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills 

  • Proactive and ownership-driven approach 

 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience working with global clients or in a multi-location operating model 

  • Exposure to process improvement, automation, or change initiatives 

Minimum Salary:

zł87,000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
