Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing paperwork, providing agent support, tracking contract statuses, and more. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prior customer service or administrative experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Communicate professionally, verbally & written with agents, agencies & carriers
Organize multiple email inboxes and provide responses to inquiries in a timely manner
Take phone calls from agents/agencies & carriers. Return voicemails in a timely manner
Utilize Excel & Word for reports and templates we send to agents/receive from carriers
Assist agents with complex issues
Complete Welcome Calls and introduce new agents to Berwick Insurance and our resources
Understand different Medicare carriers & their processes
Understand commissions from the carriers
Troubleshoot issues for agents whether it be with their clients or the carriers
Ability to understand multiple systems and resources available to our agents offered by Berwick
Reach out to our carriers to help our agents when facilitating issues
Work with multiple members of the team and other departments
Assist/understand certifications with our Medicare carriers
Navigate different carrier’s sites
Primary Skills & Requirements:
Medicare experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word
Spanish speaker (not required but highly preferred)
Basic computer proficiency
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Strong listening skills
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Strong customer service skills
