Performs administrative and fundraising responsibilities for the Office of Resource Development.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Receives and assists visitors for the Office of Resource Development, using initiative and judgement.
  • Maintains confidentiality of donors and gift information.
  • Processes contributions and miscellaneous income; maintains financial records as required by the Foundation.
  • Maintains records management systems for the Office of Resource Development Office.
  • Assists the Office of Resource Development with all aspects of fundraising and friend-raising.
  • Research donor information and prospect data as needed for the Office of Resource Development.
  • Composes Resource Development activity correspondence for Resource Development Team.
  • Creates reports and documents for the Office of Resource Development.
  • Plans, coordinates arrangements and creates invitations for meetings and special events.
  • Available to attend events outside of normal business hours.
  • Serves as contact person for scheduling appointments and maintaining calendar for Resource Development Team.
  • Coordinates Resource Development committee activities, serving as recording secretary including notification of meetings, preparing correspondence and maintaining records relating to activities.
  • Coordinates and documents travel arrangements and submits travel vouchers for the Office of Resource Development.
  • Coordinates with State Foundation as required.
  • Orders inventories and office supplies.
  • Performs special assignments as required.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.  Associates degree preferred.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service.
  • Strong written, verbal skills; with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and ability to keep business information confidential.
  • Proficient with CRM/database management systems.
  • Proficient word processing/computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with non-profit organizations and/or fundraising.
