Are you an experienced cloud engineer looking to be a part of a cloud transformation? The Hartford’s Group Benefits (GB) organization is aiming to transform our claims management systems, and we are looking for an innovative Cloud Engineer to play a key role in supporting this evolution. Enabling a superb customer experience while providing flexibility, scalability, and speed to market are key outcomes. This work will be foundational to a broader transformation that will enable other GB objectives on the strategic roadmap
The Hartford is seeking a highly motivated and experienced hands-on senior engineer to help transform and migrate our on premise platforms to AWS, as well as to work on new development efforts leveraging AWS services. The right candidate should be passionate about engineering both simple and highly complex solutions. This position will be integral in activities related to the design, implementation, orchestration, automation, and maintenance of our cloud adoption journey. The ideal candidate should have a passion for automation and coding; be self-motivated, and able to work across teams; have the drive and ability to learn new technologies; and be eager to experiment. Coaching and mentoring of teammates new to AWS is key.
This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office location (Hartford, CT; Sunrise, FL; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
