About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Transaction Reporting Specialist to join our Transaction Reporting Team within CIB London Operations. As the region expands into new markets and trading volumes continue to grow, regulatory expectations have intensified creating significant opportunities for experienced professionals to contribute to a rapidly evolving, high‑impact function.
The team is responsible for end‑to‑end EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, and Bank of Italy transaction reporting processes, including exception management, oversight of data integrity, and partnership with Technology to support both daily reporting and broader regulatory change initiatives across EMEA.
In this role, you will:
Ensure the accurate and timely submission of all EMEA transaction reporting obligations.
Oversee reporting completeness, accuracy, and timeliness, escalating issues and driving remediation where required.
Support regulatory change and transformation projects resulting from evolving European regulatory frameworks.
Perform and/or oversee daily exceptions management activities to meet Wells Fargo reporting obligations.
Perform and/or oversee daily front‑to‑back reconciliations, ensuring alignment across systems and reporting platforms.
Enhance controls and strengthen the governance framework across all transaction reporting processes.
Maintain and improve governance documentation, including process flows and procedural materials.
Provide analytical input and operational insight into regulatory change programmes.
Translate business requirements into clear technology needs and partner with Technology teams to deliver effective solutions.
Coordinate testing support and collaborate with SMEs during the implementation of regulatory changes.
Work directly with Traders and Sales to investigate and resolve trade‑related reporting issues.
Partner with Compliance and Legal to interpret regulatory rules and understand impacts of regulatory developments.
Deliver accurate and timely management information (MI) to Operations and Compliance leadership.
Prepare incident write‑ups and manage issue lifecycle from identification through to resolution.
Engage with senior regional stakeholders and contribute to governance forums.
Drive progress on the TR Book of Work (BOW), owning issues through to closure.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in Institutional Investment Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Strong knowledge of transaction reporting operations.
Ability to understand and translate regulatory rule changes and map to requirements.
Experience of working with project stakeholders to deliver change. Proven track record of process improvements and project delivery.
Strong communication and organizational skills – to work with local and remote Operations, Technology and Compliance stakeholders.
Proficient with Microsoft office products.
