Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Schedules and conducts semi-structured clinical interviews with preteens and caregivers in-person as well as via teleconferencing tools (e.g., Zoom) and databases (e.g., REDCap) per study protocol.
Documents participant history, symptoms, and diagnoses using PC computer systems and clinical interviews.
Conducts in-laboratory EEG sessions with preteens.
Leverages unique insights and clinical acumen to ensure participants are engaged with study procedures.
Engages in thoughtful communication with principal investigators, other clinical team members, and research staff, fostering a spirit of teamwork in service of our research and clinical mission.
Upholds the highest standard of participant confidentiality, ensuring stringent adherence to HIPPA regulations and institutional research guidelines.
Actively participates in continuous learning and professional development initiatives to stay at the forefront of research and clinical best practices.
May participate in the training of Professional Rater I.
Monitors and orders supplies necessary for successfully conducting the research assessments.
Prepares/edits progress reports and attends meetings.
