Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions, and ensuring that the applications function seamlessly within the existing infrastructure. You will engage in problem-solving activities, providing insights and recommendations to enhance application performance and user experience, while also managing project timelines and deliverables effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives. Professional & Technical Skills: Data and System Design - 7-10 years of relevant experience in data and business analysis. - Ability to analyze the requirement and develop system design and flow diagrams - Ability to coordinate with business and tech on requirement and system design - Systems analysis to specify data required from relevant systems including mapping and transformation activities. - Documentation of requirement, design, maintaining query log and data required for system processes or reporting MI - Ability to analyze data, make out the stories from it and explain to business and tech teams - Actively participate in functional testing working closely with tech and business teams. - Ability to understand the technical design and coordinate with tech teams to ensure design/solution satisfies the requirements. Testing and Implementation -Specification of system tests -Support the execution of tests, including defect investigation and resolution -Review and analysis of test results -Planning and execution of conversion of data from legacy to new systems -Cut over planning and execution. Project Management -Input to plans for E2E projects -Managing plan for sub-projects/tasks -Management of risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies -Must To Have Skills: - Proficiency in Data Analysis & Interpretation. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Business Requirements Analysis. - Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets. - Proficiency in data visualization techniques to present findings effectively. - Experience with statistical software and tools for data analysis. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analysis & Interpretation. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
