Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills)

  • 5 years of related program management work experience with high-volume, precision assembly processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to prepare and present information to all levels of associates, management, and customers.
  • Computer literacy with both personal computers and manufacturing systems
  • Willing to support the corporate culture with an absolute focus on ethics and fairness
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
  • Candidate must already have work authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or related area preferred.
  • Work experience within automotive industry, with emphasis in high power electronic or electronic devices Knowledge of EV components such as inverters, power modules, or control modules
  • Ability to lead projects obtaining the support of multiple departments and organizations

  • Manage plant activity timelines: 35%
  • Manage plant internal activity: 30%

Other Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage plant activity timelines to meet customer deliverables

  • Program timing (Align with PM and maintain schedule of plant activities)

  • Work Order / Sample management
  • Lead the pre-build planning meeting with the CFT to ensure that each build is properly supported across all departments to accomplish the stated goals for product shipment, data collection, and process development
    • Follow through on shipment process
    • Follow up on process requirements (DN, documentation, etc)
    • Schedule & manage build through plant processes
    • Identify what is required for each site team to meet the schedule
    • Track all processes from workorder creation to shipment
    • Lead internal meeting supporting new builds/trials
  • Change management
    • Lead the change management meeting with the CFT to ensure that each change has an implementation schedule and is approved through the customer process
    • Lead for schedule creation and implementation of Supplier Request for Engineering Approval (SREA) changes in plant
    • Support customer change management meeting
  • Open Issues (Follow up on open action items and assist in driving closure of issues to support the launch schedule)
  • Manage plant activity to meet internal deliverables
    • Phase Gate requirements and milestones
    • Align with program manager’s gate schedule and lead plant preparation
    • Communication to plant management and CFT/GCFT
      • CFT/GCFT meeting: Support
      • Daily Gemba: Support
      • xEV weekly report: Support
      • Plant bi-weekly status meeting: Support
  • Open Issues (Systematically follow up on open action items related to the plant and assist in driving closure of issues to support the launch schedule)

  • Ability to work flexible schedule including all shifts and days as needed (40-60 hours)
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs)

  • Full motor skills
