Implements billing operations to maximize effectiveness and accuracy. Audits the accuracy of billing information entered in the system and monitors the operation of the billing systems. Develops solutions to billing issues and works with systems design to implement new features. May work on billing projects with Billing Operations Mgmt.

The Billings Operations Coordinator implements billing operations to maximize effectiveness and accuracy. Audits the accuracy of billing information entered in the system and monitors the operation of the billing systems. Develops solutions to billing issues and works with systems design to implement new features. May work on billing projects with Billing Operations Mgmt.

Billing Operations Coordinator will perform tasks as outlined below, but not limited to:

  • Daily billing release and reporting, while verifying billing accuracy.

  • Research and process billing change requests from both internal and external customers

  • Perform audits of own work and that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures

  • Manage escalated processing issues for timely resolution requiring collaborative efforts across various departments

  • Prepare invoice uploads into numerous customer portals and generate reports from each.

  • Monitor and track billing portal entries for payment and/or issues requiring resolution

  • Coordinate daily/monthly deliverables for operation deadlines with relevant parties to ensure timely processing

  • Maintain and update procedural documentation, ensuring uniform processes and best practices

  • Generate additional reporting as needed in relevant subject areas

  • Month-end / Quarter-end close support for billing which may require extended hours at the end of the month

Typical Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; 2 -3 years of experience

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Clear interpersonal/customer service skills with individuals at all levels

  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage numerous, simultaneous projects

  • Organized team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Other Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and MSTeams

  • Prior experience working in SAP and Salesforce

The base pay range for this position is

Min $47,200 - Max $80,600

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
