Our location in Alpharetta, GA, currently has an opportunity for a Pricing & Contracting Analyst. Working in support of the Medical Devices US Sales Division, the Business Analyst will interface with Sales, Sales Management, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Finance to apply business management principles and financial concepts that maximize the company’s performance against sales and profit goals and minimize risk.  Position will support the stand-alone facilities and local Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) within the Medical Device Division of Vascular (VAS).  The ideal candidate must proactively research, analyze, and interpret data to produce substantiated recommendations and to work effectively in a high-pressure, high-demand sales support environment. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • •Complex analysis of historical sales, competitive pricing pressures, overall market dynamics, potential price exposure, and any existing contractual status.

    •Attention to detail and the ability to articulate key conclusions resulting from this analysis and make recommendations is required.

    •Counsel the sales team to ensure the pricing request is consistent with the pricing strategy supported by sales & marketing senior leadership.

    •Facilitate the development of GPO and IDN contracting strategies.

    •Package and present pricing requests to senior management for approval.

    •Gather and file all pricing approvals.

    •Create contract documenting approved pricing, discounting and deal structure in accordance with the Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) and corporate policies.

    •Coordinate the creation of price letters by Contract Analysts and verify price loads generated by Contract Analysts.

    •Review pricing requests submitted by Business Analysts with potential GPO and IDN implications and facilitate approval through Strategic Accounts sales team.

    •Serve as subject matter expert to Business Analysts and sales force on GPO contract implementation issues. ·Work with legal and occasionally directly with customers to negotiate business terms for non-standard contractual language.

    •Create implementation packages for GPO contract launches.

    •Create ad hoc sales reports and/or analysis as needed.

    •Maintain and enhance GPO and IDN Contract Summary tools, IDN financial models and business review models for sales and pricing analysis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A 4-year college degree and three to five years’ experience in business, financial, or strategic pricing and contracting is required. 
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in business, finance or strategic pricing and contracting is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, ability to work with general supervision, must be autonomous.
  • Leadership, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills required
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, SAP, Business objects and PowerPoint presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with remote sites & business partners including building relationship with Sales personnel to be highly effective
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred

Preferred degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, or Business (or work experience equivalent to the knowledge obtained in one of these fields).  Advanced degree in business, previous experience in the medical device industry, and Six Sigma green belt or black belt certification a plus.

The base pay for this position is

$72,700.00 – $145,300.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
