Job Description:

The opportunity:

Optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment in order to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety.

How you’ll make an impact:

• You will define the working phase sequence of a new production process in order to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget, ensure appropriate production methods, cycle-time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.

• You will identify and recommend improvement opportunities and implement improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements.

• You will ensure the production process complies with the project targets, approve the design for processes developed internally or externally and perform final tests with respect to the project.

• You will provide support for Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.

• You will evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical engineering.

• Minimum 1 year working experience in a similar position in a manufacturing industry environment.

• Good in Presentation & Negotiation Skills, studying technical standards (IEC, ISO, JIS) to transfer from English to English/Vietnamese documents.

• Preferred to Lean and six sigma certifications or knowledge, technical oriented & specialized knowledge in transformer manufacturing processes is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking) & computer skills, good in time management and using in-depth knowledge in a specific area to execute complex or specialized projects.
