Summary of Role:

GF's Central R&D team is seeking a highly motivated NVM Technology Architect to develop Edge AI circuit architectures for GF's technologies.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate across End Market, Product Lines and Product Development teams to determine NVM circuit architecture needs related to GF’s technology platforms
  • Analyze and quantify memory-augmented compute paradigms for application in ultra-low power (digital/analog) circuit topologies in silicon foundry platforms
  • Leverage comprehensive understanding of Large Language Models (LLM) to distill circuit architectures for evaluation for edge AI applications.
  • Leverage knowledge of complete (neural) network design flow to evaluate components and circuit architecture test cases to guide the development of reference designs for key technology platforms.
  • Work with peers to develop novel technology and design solutions to support GF’s product roadmap

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Graduating with Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Travel - Up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge in using cadence design environments
  • Strong knowledge in using complete design tool flow to implement neural network-based solutions

Expected Salary Range

$63,500.00 - $142,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
