Solution Architect (Front End, Loyalty Platform) (Western Union, LLC, Austin, TX)
Work on improving the overall experience of digital customers by creating comprehensive architecture designs that address business requirements and align with company’s architecture and strategic objectives. Lead, mentor and work on development tasks for systems-based front end for wallet features of company's digital experience globally. Develop and maintain architectural documentation along with managing the architecture governance process to ensure compliance. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed solutions to ensure their viability and minimize potential issues. Design and Develop features to the Wallet platform and program offering in a secure, well-tested, and performant way. Provide technical guidance and support during solution deployment and troubleshooting. Collaborate with Product Management, Design team, and other stakeholders on international release to finish assigned tasks and align with expected user experiences. Coordinate with team on solution designs and architecture across markets to ensure appropriate fit within enterprise standards. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC at 11902 Burnet Road, Suite 350, Austin, TX 78758. Salary: $130,250 - $183,300 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 4 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Application Developer, or any occupation, job title, position building software and operating within a larger, matrixed organization.
Must also have experience in the following: 4 years of professional experience managing processes using JIRA; 4 years of professional experience building web and mobile applications using Angular and React Native and extending custom coded componentry; 4 years of professional experience utilizing design thinking concepts (including empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test), architecture designs (including MVC, SOA, and Microservice architecture), and agile best-practices techniques (including iterative development, team collaboration, and continuous learning); 4 years of professional experience performing solution architecture to design scalable systems that fit within enterprise standards; and 2 years of professional experience performing rapid prototyping using Figma and Sketch to demonstrate new features and products.

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $130,250 - $183,300 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
