In this role you will support the coordination of technology sustainment activities including the maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancement of supply chain systems and tools, the implementation of technology enhancements, and supporting the process and technology change management activities. Advisors work closely with MSP partners, business and supplier stakeholders, IT and third-party technical support resources to achieve their objectives. Successful applicants will be able to work independently and with a team and have strong troubleshooting and analysis skills.Minimum Requirements:
Three years relevant experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement or IT project related role
Post-secondary Business or Supply Chain background
Experience with SAP, with a focus on cloud procure-to-pay applications such as Fieldglass and Ariba
Responsibilities:
Manage intake of technology issues and enhancement requests for SCM. Assess, evaluate, and prioritize requests with support of key stakeholders and work with IT on scoping, design, testing and implementation of key technology changes. Key application focus is Fieldglass, Ariba, S4 Procurement, Service Now
Ensure ongoing execution and effectiveness of SCM Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and ensuring that control documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date
Independently respond to queries from internal and external stakeholder groups of various complexity and provides process and technical advice as required
Work collaboratively with MSP partners
Monitor adherence to SCM practices and procedures and highlights issues that require resolution
Ability to recognize technical and business opportunities to improve processes within SCM departments
Demonstrates advanced communication skills, customer service skills, and a high results orientation with a demonstrated continuous improvement mind set
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, applying a high attention to detail
Location and other Key Details:
This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
