Pay Range

$35.50 - $66.25

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Environmental Health and Safety 
  • Three years' experience in a medical transport environment or safety management field required.

What You'll Do:

  • Facilitates safety committee meetings.
  • Provides risk identification process and risk management plan that includes a non-punitive system for employees to report hazards, risks, and safety concerns.
  • Manages a system to track, trend, and mitigate errors or hazards.
  • Reviews safety protocols annually and updates as needed.
  • Facilitates ongoing safety training for all personnel.
  • Coordinates with senior management on trends and occurrences.
  • Facilitates the use of risk assessment tools.
  • Facilitates safety drills and debriefings quarterly.
  • Facilitates debriefings for any unusual occurrences to provide action plans, evaluations, and loop closure.
  • Maintains current knowledge in industry safety standards.
  • Conducts routine safety inspections and audits.
  • Communicates safety related information to the team.
  • Responsible for setting a strong example of safety by promoting a safe environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Work in an office environment.
  • Occasional travel to bases in personal vehicle may be required.
  • Subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
  • May be subject to hazards (i.e., chemicals, mechanical parts, etc.) and atmospheric conditions (i.e., fumes, odors, dusts, etc.).
