About the role

The Vein‑to‑Vein (V2V) organization plays a critical role in delivering life‑saving cell therapies by ensuring the end‑to‑end orchestration of patient material—from collection to infusion—across a complex, global Autologous Cell Therapy supply chain. 

As a V2V planner – Weekend, you will serve as a flexible, dynamic resource supporting our EMEA network, with a strong focus on planning and logistics support during weekends and off-hours. You will provide active planning oversight, monitor inbound and outbound activities, and act as an escalation point for operational disruptions to protect on-time delivery for patients. You will collaborate broadly across internal and external teams to maintain network stability, ensure operational readiness, and support the daily rhythm of the end-to-end patient order journey.

New way of working – sustainable weekend model. This position is part of a new V2V EMEA working model designed to combine business continuity with team wellbeing as our weekend activities grow. It follows a compressed four-day workweek of 4 × 10-hour shifts, with a broad overlap with the standard week so we keep our ‘one team’ culture, broaden coverage of operational hours, and reduce weekend and evening stand-by calls. This posting covers Model 2: Wednesday to Saturday (4 × 10-hour shifts).

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Logistics Support

• Provide active planning oversight during weekdays, weekends and off-hours.

• Monitor inbound and outbound activities and manufacturing progress, including re-scheduling when required.

• Act as an escalation point for operational disruptions.

• Ensure seamless handover between weekend planning, scheduling, and management teams.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Quality, Couriers, Global Planning, Commercial, LC/WH, Manufacturing, and other supporting teams.

• Serve as the Supply Chain point of contact for treatment sites and commercial teams from a logistics, planning, and forecasting perspective.

• Participate in or lead special projects focused on process optimization, system readiness, scalability, and continuous improvement (e.g. GTP).

Execution & Risk Mitigation

• Execute contingency plans to protect on-time delivery.

• Support material movement across the V2V supply chain for EMEA patients.

• Support ad-hoc inbound and outbound patient material movements, communicate with couriers, and provide updated forecasts reflecting changes.

Systems, Reporting & Documentation

• Apply strong system knowledge and problem-solving skills (e.g. EU2, COI/C, ATSM, CCM).

• Create invoices, run reports, manage user and site creation, and provide courier supporting documentation.

• Develop and track operational metrics.

• Update WIs, SOPs, and manuals.

• Support site certification activities.

• Communicate operational risks, constraints, or delays proactively to team members and leadership.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or Cell & Gene Therapy required.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 4 years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.

• Ability to summarize and present complex operational information clearly.

• Familiarity with critical issue management and resolution frameworks.

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and development, with a positive can-do mindset.

Preferred

• Planning, scheduling, or customer-facing experience.

• ERP system experience (SAP or similar) and familiarity with V2V systems (e.g. EU2, COI/C, ATSM, CCM).

• Logistics or transportation experience.

• Experience in launch, scale-up, or start-up environments.

Other Requirements

• Ability to work a compressed four-day workweek of 4 × 10-hour shifts, Wednesday to Saturday, supporting weekend and off-hours V2V operations across EMEA.

• This role operates within a new V2V EMEA weekend working model (12-month pilot with interim evaluation); the position is offered on a permanent contract.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€60,000.00 - €96,255.00
