The selected candidate will lead and manage the assembly, integration, and testing at the MSAT and SAF3 facilities. This position will report to the AI&T PM for the program and be responsible for:
Own cost and schedule deliverables for program Payload build and test deliverables.
Leading and directing a team of OPMs, Engineers, and SMSs to meet cost and schedule goals
Coordination of staffing needs including staffing shift work
Standardization of Payload AI&T training & practices
Developing and adhering to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) on a recurring basis
Maintaining and adhering to executable Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Continuous Improvement of test and assembly processes and procedures
Maintenance of tiered escalation meetings
Prioritization of program specific SQDCM and PCAB activities
Interface with NHA operations with respect to delivery scheduling
Coordination of Payload Test Failure Investigations with Engineering & Test Teams
Coordinating Risk and Opportunity execution for the Production Program
Strategizing Long-Term production improvements which enable new opportunities on existing and follow-on contracts
Developing and delivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders
Coordinating Change Control Board Activities internally and with the Customer
Consistently making time to seek and incorporate input from customers and understanding their expectations. Demonstrating commitment and energy to meet customer needs (Internally and Externally).
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years or Master's and 5 years experience supporting
Government contracts and/or project management in other industries
Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
Demonstrated success leading teams and/or organizations to achieve a common goal
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government DoD Top Secret clearance and SCI approval/access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active/Current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and SCI approval/access
Proven experience with Assembly, Integration and Test.
The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance.
The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts across all levels of the program.
The ability to recognize and respond to customer needs to develop additional sales that support organizational objectives.
The ability to address program uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities, determines appropriate handling plans, and manages, controls, and communicates risks and opportunities throughout the lifecycle of the program.
Demonstrated expertise in Passive RF technology development.
