Position Summary: 

The Sales Executive will promote and sell Truckstop.com products and services to prospective customers. This position is a phone-based sales role responsible for achieving expectations in monthly sales targets, job functions, and responsibilities. The Sales Executive will be responsible for working with our Carrier audience and understanding this persona with expertise. In addition, this position will take full ownership of the sales cycle, have a professional level of knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close and will stop at nothing to achieve, and often exceed their quotas.  

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of new businesses that will support monthly and annual goals by selling Truckstop.com products and services through a value-based approach 
  • Prospect leads via phone and email, identifying key decision makers, business pain points, the size of the opportunity, budget, and purchase timeframes and make product recommendations for individual customer 
  • Own the full sales conversation and negotiation through to close with a primary focus on new logos/net new customer accounts 
  • Work with new FMCSA entrances as the primary lead source 
  • Develop accurate forecasts, summarize interaction with customers and meticulously manage sales activity in CRM 
  • Create strategic sales initiatives to drive consistent achievement of monthly quota 
  • Process new customer applications and accounts 
  • Build strong customer rapport by providing value, educating, and problem solving with customers 
  • Lead product demonstrations to executive and technical leader audiences 
  • Exceed individual high-volume sales goals while working as part of a team 

Position Requirements: 

  • High school diploma, college degree preferred 
  • 2 years of experience in carrying and attaining a sales quota 
  • Minimum three years' experience in software sales preferred, including experience in presenting a sales demonstration to a client, especially via phone 
  • Experience as a freight broker or logistics experience preferred 
  • Bilingual Spanish / English preferred

Final salary is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
$21$21 USD
