About you and this role

Responsible for supporting account managers of small to medium size accounts.  More experienced Senior Sales Specialists also give support to large accounts and are accountable for non-selling processes and tasks inherent in the sales process. This includes generating leads, outlining sales territories, managing sales analytics, fixing the technical problem of a customer, giving support on the phone to a customer, etc. Scope can be regional and segment specific if aligned to a business and less frequently global.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow presence in the region. Understand the customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain share market.
  • Search new product development opportunities within the market.
  • Maintain customer relationships and expand network to different levels within a customer’s organization. Execute sales/marketing plan, delivering in volume and value. Develop the sales plan aligned to the marketing plan in coordination with other functions.
  • Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Production and Supply Chain. Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales plan. Get and analyze data to take decisions about new product development.
  • Leads and conducts negotiations and develops and implements price strategies aligned with business goals considering legal implications, customs regulations and Dow sales processes. Collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results. Dow Global Sales

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Chemical or polymer engineering degree with MBA will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • 5 to 7 years of work experience in sales and marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience of managing existing business with skills of negotiation, price management, issue resolution.
