  • As one of our Investment Directors, you’ll be a business driver for our equity products, and a representative of the investment group, engaging with external clients as a proxy for our equity portfolio managers and analysts.
  • You’ll represent Capital Group at client meetings, new business presentations, speaking events, sales meetings & with the media.
  • You’ll partner with our sales teams in delivering investment expertise and equity capital markets perspective to clients as well as key insights into our investment process.
  • You’ll be a subject matter expert engaging with institutional clients conducting due diligence on our strategies.
  • You’ll excel at producing differentiated insight about portfolios.
  • You’re motivated by intellectual curiosity, growing businesses, setting goals, and measuring your performance against them. You are a well-rounded collaborator with an enquiring mind and work skillfully with senior sales force members to provide opportunity for better investor outcomes.
  • You understand the importance of thoughtful communication.
  • You take the time to create and maintain meaningful relationships.
  • You can readily give examples of areas that you are working to improve. You’ve listened to feedback throughout your career and seek to continuously improve.

  • You have a proven track of equity investment experience as a buy-side Portfolio Manager, Investment Analyst, Institutional Salesperson, Product Manager, Client Portfolio Manager, Portfolio Specialist, and/or Trader
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in investment related roles; experience as a CPM a plus
  • You have deep knowledge of global equity markets, strategies and investment processes including investment research, portfolio management, risk management, and strategy design
  • You have experience across a range of vehicles: mutual funds, other commingled vehicles, institutional separate accounts, separately managed accounts, and ETFs
  • You have international/global equity experience
  • You are a strong collaborator and work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and insights
  • You have strong presentation skills and know how to tailor your message for different audiences
  • You have experience in creating effective and concise client materials
  • You have an undergraduate degree (required) and/or an advanced business degree; CFA a plus

Southern California Base Salary Range: $295,000-$335,000

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
