Job Summary
The EVS Aide cleans and services building areas, removes non-medical waste and medical waste according to established procedures. Performs a variety of environmental service duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.Pay Range
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
* Required: Previous customer service experience.
* Preferred: 6 months housekeeping with floor care experience.
Education
* Required: High School Diploma, GED or two additional years of experience in lieu of education.
Special Skills
* Required: Able to operate heavy floor machines. Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position; Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction.
