Northrop Grumman's Corporate Global Supply Chain organization is seeking an Information Systems Asset Services Technical Analyst. The selected candidate will work as a member of the Technology Asset Services team within the Corporate Global Supply Chain organization. The role will be a part of the Asset Services Software Packaging team as an analyst working within the packaging workflow functions.

This position will be virtual remote and can be performed anywhere within the continental United States.

This individual will be responsible the creation of Windows software installation packages based on customer requirements for automated deployment in an Enterprise environment.

They must be able to work independently under the direction of the Asset Services Packaging Manager. The position will interface with all levels of personnel and business partners and will support the overall end to end packaging workflow.

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Review packaging request and requirements

  • Evaluate package request and estimate complexity and estimate time to complete

  • Create automated installation scripts utilizing enterprise tools (i.e., Powershell, MSI, VBScript, etc.)

  • Troubleshooting scripting errors

  • Participate in other Asset Services projects and efforts within the organization as needed 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of experience required OR Associate’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 9 years of relevant experience

  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell Scripts

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager

  • Knowledge and experience with Windows installer technologies (i.e., MSI, MISIX)

  • Knowledge of Flexera AdminStudio and App Portal

  • Knowledge of request

  • Effective people skills and the ability to relate well with all levels within a diverse population

  • Ability to solve problems by utilizing training, knowledge, tools and analytical skills

  • Able to grasp complex information quickly and research effectively when additional information is required

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment where multiple efforts are being worked simultaneously

  • Ability to work well within a team environment and quickly adapt to changes

  • Effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

  • Excellent customer services skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager

  • Experience with Flexera AdminStudio (i.e., InstallShield) and App Portal

  • Experience with App Deploy Toolkit

  • Experience with editing MSI’s

  • Experience with writing PowerShell scripts to deploy software

  • Experience with ServiceNow

Salary Range: $88,600.00 - $133,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
