Job Summary

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for product positioning and messaging, development of product marketing materials, and go-to-market strategy and support for one of our product families within the Global Connected Living Line of Business (LOB).

In this global support role, you will collaborate with Product, regional leaders, Marketing Centers of Excellence (COEs), Communications and other cross-functional teams to develop materials, tools, and campaigns to market and promote these solutions externally.

You will partner with Growth Marketing and Marketing Strategy teams to market assigned products, help implement them with clients, and ensure performance against stated goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

You will be responsible for product-specific messaging, positioning, and go-to-market materials to support both B2B and B2B2C audiences. You will collaborate with product and marketing leaders to analyze the competitive environment, and conduct market and consumer research as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong digital and product marketing background with a track record of bringing new products to market.

Job Responsibilities

Product Marketing & Sales Enablement (40%)

  • Partner with Product, Growth Marketing, and regions to create templates, tools, and materials that can be adapted for key opportunities. Serve as Marketing SME for product training as it relates to messaging, positioning, and storytelling.
  • Create product-specific sales enablement materials, content, and communications including pitch decks, e-books, product sheets, guides, infographics, and videos.
  • Maintain product positioning and messaging frameworks and documentation. Partner with LOB Marketing related to product naming, branding, trademarks, etc.
  • Develop product marketing plans and materials aligned to product roadmaps and needs of key stakeholders and regions.
  • Partner with LOB Marketing and COE teams to promote assigned products, execute plans and campaigns, measure performance, and optimize results.
  • Maintain product positioning and messaging documents for respective products/solutions. Develop marketing briefs including creative and campaign briefs as required.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success of product marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Go-to-Market Strategy & B2B2C Support (40%)

  • Develop Go-to-Market best practices, tools & templates to be adapted by Growth Marketing team for client implementation.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, clarity, effectiveness, and compliance of consumer-facing materials, communications, and tools for respective products.
  • Partner with Marketing Strategy & Growth Marketing to create new marketing ideas, campaigns, and/or channels.
  • Analyze and report on marketing KPIs, providing best practices, insights, and recommendations for optimization.

Market & Consumer Insights (20%)

  • Partner with internal research teams and external partners to conduct market and consumer research in support of our products and regions.
  • Monitor competitive landscape, marketing messaging, positioning, and performance.
  • Support message testing for products to understand resonance, clarity, comprehension, and effectiveness with target audiences.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Product, Marketing, Business Administration or other related field
  • 8+ years relevant experience in marketing or product with strong focus in product positioning, digital marketing, e-commerce, marketing research, and analytics.
  • Direct experience with developing, executing, and measuring successful B2C and B2B marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns. 
  • Direct experience with managing digital and traditional marketing efforts and channels from concept through to production. 
  • Excellent people skills; ability to build relationships, navigate cross-functional teams, and internal/external resources.
  • Comfortable working in matrixed environments. 
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with complex and changing market dynamics. 

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Proven Product Marketing experience with SaaS products, telecommunications, financial services, or insurtech industry preferred.
  • 8+ years relevant experience in marketing or product with strong focus in product positioning, digital marketing, e-commerce, marketing research, and analytics.
  • B2B and B2B2C/consumer marketing experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of martech and analytics tools including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, sales enablement tools, Google Analytics, PowerBI.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.

Pay Range:

$84,100.00 - $140,500.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
