Are you passionate about building cutting‑edge applications using Microsoft technologies? At Saxo Group India Private Limited, we design and deliver innovative solutions that drive business impact. We’re seeking a talented senior developer to help us build high‑quality software on the Microsoft .NET platform and microservices architecture. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising services and APIs, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET web services and applications (ASP.NET Core and .NET Framework).
• Utilise C#/.NET to build robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Develop and optimise databases and T‑SQL stored procedures on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Design and implement distributed systems using microservices architecture.
• Build and operate event‑based communication using Apache Kafka (producers/consumers, topics/partitions, consumer groups, delivery semantics).
• Collaborate across teams to refine requirements, produce technical designs, and deliver high‑quality code.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and security through testing, observability, and best practices.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot complex issues.

Your Profile

• 10–12 years of demonstrated software engineering experience with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET and T‑SQL programming.
• Solid experience with .NET Core and Web API for building secure, scalable APIs and services.
• Hands‑on production experience with Apache Kafka for designing efficient, scalable event‑driven systems.
• Understanding of legacy WCF services (service contracts, bindings/endpoints, hosting, security) and experience maintaining or modernising them.
• Practical experience designing and implementing microservices and distributed systems.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred skills

• Microsoft Azure cloud services (e.g., App Services, AKS, Event Hubs, Key Vault).
• Redis (caching and performance optimisation).
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), automated testing, and code reviews.
• Observability (structured logging, metrics, tracing) and performance profiling.
