CFD Research supports customer R&D activities related to technology development and integration. This role will provide project management for a multi-disciplinary engineering team involved with development and integration of ground test facilities on Redstone Arsenal, AL.


The position will have responsibility for planning, tracking, and execution of complex tasking within technical, schedule, and budget constraints. Candidate must be able to work across technical disciplines and project roles - developing a general understanding of the importance and impact each technology area has on the overall objectives.
In addition to project management responsibilities, this role will help the customer update stakeholders via technical and programmatic briefings. The candidate must understand how government acquires, develops and integrates technology into existing and new programs. An ability to work across stakeholder interest to keep the program moving forward technically will be critical to the success of this role.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Position requires at least a bachelor's degree in engineering or similar STEM Discipline
  • Be an advocate within the team for maintaining the CFD Research culture and embodying our core values
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering or project management. Including the following tasks:
    • Requirements Definition and Management
    • Schedule Development & Management
    • Cost Estimating & Budgeting Management
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Demonstrated expertise in MS Office, including PowerPoint, as well as MS Project
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and active Secret clearance or higher required.
